About Lei-Lei Cinema
Curating rare gems of world cinema, Lei-Lei Cinema, based in Leeds, is dedicated to showcasing unique and overlooked films on the big screen. The name comes from my cat Lei-Lei, inspired by the Chinese thunder god Lei-Gong (雷公)—a nod to personal and cultural history. Just as these influences come together, our screenings aim to unite communities through a shared love of cinema.
